America’s struggle (“jihad”) over our values, principles and priorities, domestically and internationally, really came to a head during the 1960’s. As evidenced by the current and worsening divisive politics, exacerbated by a complicit and dysfunctional media, “TRUTH,” “FACTS,” integrity and accountability are proving to be fluid and elusive.
