We must overcome anti-Trump fever to restore bipartisan problem-solving

Hyper-partisan tribalism, polarization and division were alive and well in America well before Donald Trump was the nominee, elected or even took office. He is hardly the “Uniter-in-Chief” we needed (neither was Hillary), but those most afflicted with “Trump Derangement Syndrome” would be well-advised to take a deep breath and re-assess the rampant hypocrisy that is afflicting our two major political tribes, and a complicit media that thrives on and promotes distrust and conflict… Somehow, folks, we have to recognize the extent to which we are being manipulated by politicians, the mainstream and social media – misinformation and disinformation generated by both domestic and foreign players perpetuating their own agendas.
